Dylan's 1st Snow Storm

We got hit with our first big snow storm of the year. Mommy and Daddy were home with me for the past two days, but Daddy headed back to the office today. I must have asked at least 10 times if I could go outside and play in the snow, but they kept telling me that I was "too little", "maybe next year", and yadda yadda yadda. I decided to pull up a chair and sit and watch instead. I'm already looking forward to next year's first big snow!

Dylan's 1st Blog (and Lori's too)

Dylan Thomas Maley was born on September 9, 2009 at 37 weeks gestation. He was 6 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. We had quite a scare when I went into the hospital at 32 weeks 5 days gestation on the "lucky" 08/08/08. I was in the hospital for 11 days and on bed rest for another 3 weeks. It was tough, but worth every single second when I heard that beautiful cry on that very early Tuesday morning (1:42 a.m. to be exact). I have since learned that Tuesday is the most common day of the week to give birth. Just an interesting fact for my readers!

I am looking forward to keeping everyone up-to-date on how Dylan is growing. The first four months have flown. Dylan (AKA "Pickles") is smiling, cooing, sitting up (assisted, of course), beginning solid foods and making mommy and daddy more proud everyday. He is surrounded by wonderful family and friends that I'm thankful for each and every day.

By the way...Dylan got his nickname "Pickles" from my newphew Ben. My sister decided she was going to call Dylan "Dill Pickle" and Benny decided he would call him "Pickles". Poor lil' guy...I hope he doesn't get picked on at school because his Mom is cheering "GO PICKLES" at his first tee ball game. :-)

Many thanks to Alison for getting me started on yet another new web site! Ha! Ha!
